Andrea Lee, who is the current Legacy FC Women’s Flyweight Champion, failed a post-fight drug test following Invicta FC 16 for a banned diuretic. The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) conducted the test and notified Lee of the failure, Lee has already released a statement denying any wrongdoing on her end. Lee suffered a submission defeat to Sarah D’Alelio at the event, she was not yet scheduled to compete in two months at Invicta FC 17. The NSAC will hold a hearing in the next few weeks with Lee attending, her suspension could be as long as two years.
