A pair of championship bouts as middleweight champion Vitaly Bigdash defends against Aleksei Butorin and Angela Lee faces Mei Yamaguchi to crown the first women’s atomweight champion. Bigdash will be making the first defense of his championship, which he won by defeating Igor Svirid at One Championships 31. Butorin is currently undefeated as a professional MMA fighter and he is a longtime veteran of the Warriors Way promotion.
Lee is currently undefeated as a professional MMA fighter and she has spent her entire professional MMA career in One Championships. Yamaguchi will be making her One Championships debut in this fight and she is a veteran of the Jewels promotion. One Championships 42 takes place on May 6th from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore with Vitaly Bigdash and Aleksei Butorin headlining.
