Following the injury to Daniel Cormier, Ovince St. Preux has agreed to step in on short notice to fight Jon Jones for the UFC Interim Light Heavyweight Title. St. Preux has won seven of nine fights during his UFC run, which includes wins over a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and a Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion. Jones will be competing for the first time since he was stripped of the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship after legal manners in 2015. UFC 197 takes place on April 23rd from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
