AL SNOW, JUSTIN CREDIBLE HEADING TO WORLD-1 WRESTLING IN NJ

By Mike Johnson on 4/6/2016 9:19 AM

Mark your calendars for April 9th 2016 at 7pm. It will be
the first time WORLD-1 champion, Chris Rockwell will defend
his championship in his home state in nearly 5 years. We
were able to get a comment from the current champion.

"Over the years, I have defended the championship everywhere
from New York to North Carolina. I told you people you
should’ve just retired the belt when I won it on January
31st 2010, because no one could take it from me. Since then,
I’ve beaten everyone. Adam Cole, Colby Corino, The Monster
Ahtu, CW Anderson, Jerry Lynn and even my idol and founder
of this company, Steve Corino. Now that I’m thinking about
it, I have defeated every former ECW hack you have put in
front of me."

When Chris Rockwell walks into The Bull Pen in Morganville
NJ (712 Ginesi Drive) he will have been WORLD-1 champion for
6 years, 2 months and 9 days. Something unprecedented in
todays wrestling landscape.

WORLD-1 is happy to announce Chris Rockwell’s opponent will
be none other than ECW/TNA/WWE star Al Snow! Snow has
traveled the globe and is considered by many fans to be one
of the all time greatest in the sport. We reached out to
Snow for a comments on his upcoming title shot against Chris
Rockwell.

I would love to tell you that Chris Rockwell is a nobody,
and that he hasn’t been to all the places that I have been.
Or that I am going to teach him a lesson on April 9th. But,
truth be told, Chris Rockwell is a dangerous champion. The
fact that he is so desperate to hold onto the WORLD-1
championship makes him terribly dangerous. Every day that
goes by he inches into history, and I can tell you right now
the paranoia is setting in. If he wants to call out former
ECW names, so be it. I know what I am capable of, and I know
what it feels like to be the champion. After our match I
will know that feeling once again. What does everybody want?
Al Snow as the WORLD-1 champion.

For the first time in over 10 years, Justin Credible returns
to a WORLD-1 ring. Credible the main eventer for several
early W1 shows in 2004-2005, will be in action as he teams
with Jaysin Genesis. Many have noticed how the actions of
Jaysin Genesis seem to mirror those of Justin Credible and
it seems as though their parallel career paths will finally
intersect on April 9th in Morganville NJ. The question is,
will they work well as a team or implode onto themselves?

Their opponents for the evening will be the unlikely pairing
of young, British upstart, Erik Bromley and the flamboyant
playboy, Jay D Luscious. Bromley had the following to say
regarding the match:

I don’t know much about Jay D Luscious but I am looking
forward to having the opportunity to better my in ring
skills, and show what I am capable of to the WORLD-1 fans.
The fact that I will be standing across the ring from Justin
Credible and Jaysin Genesis is not something I am taking
lightly. Both men are dangerous inside the squared circle
and I plan to be at my absolute best for this match.

On the contrary, Jay D Luscious took a less humble approach:

Justin Credible and Jaysin Genesis? Hmmm, I love to rub a
bald head. My partner Erik Bromley, I’m sure he is talented,
but I don’t think I’ll need help in there. As long as all
the Lusc-Ites are behind…my behind, I will be ready to go.

Also, WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana will be in action!
