The UFC has cut welterweight fighter Mike Jackson from the roster, he is currently sporting a record of 0-1-0. Jackson only fought once in the UFC, which was a losing effort to Mickey Gall at UFC Fight Night: Hendricks vs. Thompson, a bout that determined the first opponent for pro wrestler turned fighter CM Punk. Jackson has stated that he will be going to return to the world of professional boxing, which is where he competed before coming over to MMA.
