House Of Bricks Pro Wrestling, based out of New Bedford, MA, will be having a DoubleHeader weekend in May. House Of Bricks, started in 2009 for the sole purpose of fundraising local organizations, have expanded in the past few years and has been able to help out such groups as the Greater New Bedford Youth Baseball League, New Bedford South End Youth Athletic Association, the Kyle Pendergast Family, New Bedford High School Show Choir, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and most recently on April 23rd, the Make A Wish Foundation.
First on Friday May 13th at Dublin's Sports Bar & Grille, 1686 Acushnet Avenue, New Bedford, MA as HoB presents, Wrestling For Alex. On May 13th, House Of Bricks Pro Wrestling comes together to help raise money for a very special young man named Alex Pateakos, a 12 year old boy from of Marion, MA who has been wrestling his own battle with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, and at Dublin's Sports Bar & Grille, proceeds from that night will be going to help Alex and his family. Tickets for that event are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Doors open at 6pm with a bell time of 7pm. Come on out to help support Alex and the Pateakos family and see a great night of professional wrestling action provided by House Of Bricks Pro Wrestling.
Second on Saturday May 14th at Dias Field, 106 Nauset Street, New Bedford, MA, House Of Bricks returns to the place where it ALL began. For the EIGHTH consecutive year, HoB teams up with the Greater New Bedford Youth Baseball League, for the start of another season of wrestling fundraising events. On May 14th, HoB and the GNBYBL present Open Season. For the past eight years, HoB and the GNBYBL have been coming together to present fundraising events at Dias Field and look to make this year the biggest yet in HoB history. ALL TICKETS for this event are $10. This will be an outdoor event and seating will be on the field itself so fans are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets to the field that evening. The gates will be opened at 6pm with a bell time of 7pm.
