5/7 UWC RESULTS FROM WRIGHTSTOWN, NJ

By Joseph Grana on 5/8/2016 4:33 PM

RESULTS:
United Wrestling Coalition
Wrightstown, New Jersey at Kelly’s Bar/Banquet Hall
May 7, 2016

Ring Announcer: Daisy
Referees: George Pinaha and Scott Volk
President: Joe Rules

1) Bubba, formerly from Cell Block Four, after having served his sentence, returned to the UWC to a warm welcome until The Unholy Alliance--Billy Lassiter & The Ripper with Mr. Black--interrupted him. Mr. Black announced that Lassiter & Ripper would retire from in-ring competition next month.  It was decided that on June 11, The Ripper & Billy Lassiter would take on Bubba & Big Rig in their retirement match; it was also decided that Billy Lassiter would take on Bubba right now!

Bubba defeated Billy Lassiter via disqualification after Lassiter hit him with a loaded forearm guard and Ripper and Mr. Black ran in and put the boots to Bubba.

2) In a great scientific bout between two very popular fan favorites, Adam “Aces” Chandler pinned The Great Cerenzio.

3) Craig Francis, now accompanied by Dave Davis, pinned Nate Mustang when a distraction by Davis gave Francis the opportunity to roll up Mustang for the victory.

4) In an elimination-style three-way dance, The United Force (Warhead & Spectrum) defeated Tag Team Champions The Short Bus Express (Rudo The Heel & The “Jersey Shore Madman” Slayer) and T.G.I. Fredo Majors & “Brilliant” Bobby Banks to win the United Wrestling Coalition Tag Team Championship. First The Short Bus Express was eliminated when Fredo Majors pinned Rudo The Heel, ensuring this match would result in new Tag Champions. Ultimately, Spectrum pinned Bobby Banks to capture the title for The United Force.

5) Silly Billy defeated the team of UWC United States Champion “The One” Geoffrey Bravo & his manager Preston Montgomery, Esq in a handicap match. According to the stipulations of the bout, the winner would gain all rights to the name and likeness of “Silly Billy” (Preston Montgomery had purchased those rights on behalf of The Black List Firm last year when Silly Billy was wrestling as “Serious William”) and that the loser of the fall would have to leave the United Wrestling Coalition. Silly Billy pinned Preston Montgomery with a superkick, and as a result, he now owns his name free and clear. Preston Montgomery, Esq. tried to stage a sit-in to protest his banishment and had to be removed from the building by The United Force and Forearms Farina.

6) Dave Davis, accompanied by Craig Francis, pinned The “Lost Boy” Jay Kirby. Kirby was attempting to suplex Davis back into the ring, but Francis grabbed and held onto his leg, enabling Davis to fall on top of Kirby for the pinfall. This brought out Nate Mustang who paired up with Kirby against Davis & Francis and ran them out of the ring.

7) The “Thriller” Andd Bivians pinned Textbook Philly Madison to win the United Wrestling Coalition Heavyweight Championship! Madison had been avoiding this match ever since the two wrestled in December. The Champion pulled out all the stops, even hitting the challenger with his heavy textbook at one point. But in the end, The “Thriller” was able to hit his finishing maneuver for the pinfall. The match is not without controversy, however, because Textbook Philly Madison had his foot on the ropes as Referee George Pinaha counted to three. Neither Andd Bivians nor the ref saw his foot on the ropes, and President Joe Rules has stated that the referee’s decision is final! Congratulations to the new UWC Heavyweight Champion The “Thriller” Andd Bivians!

The United Wrestling Coalition returns to Kelly’s Banquet Hall with not one but TWO great shows in June! June 11 will feature The Unholy Alliance’s retirement match against LXV (Big Rig & Bubba) as well as the annual Ron Parks, Sr. Memorial Rumble! June 25 is Fan Appreciation Night, where the fans pick the matches they want to see!
