5/14 GOUGE RESULTS FROM SMITHFIELD, NC

GOUGE Presents Mayhem May 14, 2016 Smithfield, NC Double Barley Brewery

Noise Pollution (Madd Max Morrison & Roc Richards) defeated No Direction (Ryan Miller & Encore): Roc and Ryan started the match and Rocs size dominated the small Ryan Miller, Madd Maxx came in and did the same, when Encore tagged in it was more of the same until Maxx missed a charge in the corner. No Direction then double teamed Maxx for over 5 minutes until Miller missed a frog splash allowing Maxx to make the hot tag to Roc. Roc handled both of the smaller No Direction and tossed Miller and Maxx entered and a double superkick to the head set Encore up for the easy pin by Richards after 11:17

Old School beat Ryker Ramon;  Leo Ryker continued his new gimmick ever show theme this time becoming Razor Ramon.  The popular Old School easily dominated early until Ryker used eye gouges to gain control.  He tossed Old School outside the ring and followed but was overtaken and slammed into the ring by Old School.  Ryker quickly regained control but missed a charge and nut shot himself on the middle rope.  Old School landed a series of dropkicks followed by a belly to back suplex and a pin for the  win after 7:52

North Carolina Champion Juan Jeremi w/ Waylon Maze beat Jimmy Jack Funk Jr w/ Admir Al Akbar and Mickey Gambino via DQ:  An early test of strength got turned into a dance by Jeremi.  Every time Juan gained an upper hand, Jimmy Jack powdered outside the ring.  Once Jimmy Jack got control he worked over Juan's neck with a series of nerve holds and kicks.  Akabr and Gambino repeated double and triple teamed Juan.  Juan got  control. after Funk missed a charge in the corner and he hit Funk with a spine buster, when he climbed to the top rope, Akbar grabbed his foot and allowed Funk to toss him off, Funk climbed up but missed a splash, as Juan went for the pin Mickey Gambino hit the ring causing Funk to be DQed. after 20:16.   Waylon made the save and they challenged Funk and Gambino for a tag match later in the show.  Impasaio of Fun Count Grog made the match on the spot. 

Otto Schwanz w/ Admir Akbar beat Seymour Snott:  The first 5 minutes was spent with Akbar making fun of the redneck crowd followed by Otto and Seymour taking turns for crowd reactions.  The match started with Otto using basic wrestling skills to takedown and try to turn Snott over for a pin.  Seymour sat out and did the same to Otto.  From the match degenerated into Snott grabbing and pulling Otto's chest hair and then grabbing his nose until the ref Curtis Cash slapped Snott's hand to break the hold and hurt Otto's nose more.  Otto gained control and worked Snott's arm with an armbar put him in the ropes where Admir Akbar pumped the arm in the ropes on the third attempt Snott reversed it and stuck Otto's arm there and the unsuspecting Akbar pumped his own wrestlers arm by mistake.  Otto then dominated Snott and used a mixture of double teaming with Akbar and a vicious shoulder breaker that looked like the end for Snott.  Snott caught Otto in a small package by Otto easily kicked out, Seymour tried a legdrop off the top rope that he missed and Otto came out of nowhere with a Russian Sickle for the pin at 22:19. 

GOUGE Tag Team Champions Jimmy Jack Funk Jr and Mickey Gambino w/ Admir Al Akbar defeated Juan Jeremi & Waylon Maze:  Juan & Waylon hit the ring quick but the champs where ready and jumped them as the entered.  Juan & Waylon got control and tossed Mickey and Jimmy Jack into each other but they did a doey doe and came back and clotheslined Waylon & Juan.  This set up about 15 minutes of double teaming on Waylon Maze by the champs and lots of interference by Akbar.  Waylon finally made the hot tag to Juan he cleaned house and tossed Funk in the corner and then shot Mickey head first into Funk's belly.  Waylon came back in and was about to pin Funk when Mickey tossed him his bullrope and cowbell, when the ref went to get Mickey out of the ring Funk hit Waylon with the cowbell and tosse dit out of the ring and easily pinned Maze at 15:42. 

 

The Main Event saw GOUGE Champion Timmy Lou Retton defeat Victor Andrews.  Both wrestlers are fan favorites and they initially shook hands but after neither able to gain an advantage they got in each others faces and had words.  The match was then a scientific wrestling match back and forth with both wrestlers using their speed and high flying moves.  Timmy hit several cartwheels in the corner on Andrews but was unable to put his foe away. The end was kick with Timmy missing his finisher the Moonshot backflip off the top rope, Andrews and Timmy then both land flying kicks to the head and both went down but both beat the refs 10 count.  Timmy missed another corner cartwheel but Andrews charged and Timmy moved causing Andrews to hit the turnbuckle, . Timmy then hit a suplex that he bridged over for the pin at 15:25.   afterward both wrestlers shook hands and Timmy raised Victor's hand.

Next show is the Raleigh downtown July 4th Fireworks celebration, once again GOUGE will have matches all day long on Hargett Street just off Fayetteville st.  srarting at 2:30 PM.  and ending close to 9PM. 

There is a possible June show but not set yet.
