News reports coming out now from various media outlets now confirming that Bellator MMA veteran, UFC veteran and street fighting legend Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson has passed away, he was 42 years old. There is no cause of death announced yet and there is no timeframe for when that announcement will be made. Slice was set to headline Bellator 158 on July 16th in a rematch against James Thompson, whom he previously defeated at an Elite XC event. Current Bellator MMA star and UFC veteran Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson is currently in a hospital near his Coral Springs, Florida home for an undisclosed medical issue. According to reports from TMZ and other media outlets, Slice’s condition is “dire” and “things do not look good” for the 42-year-old MMA star and street fighting legend. According to reports by ESPN, police officers are currently interviewing members of Slice’s family about the situation, but nothing has been made public about the investigation. There are also reports currently popping up on Twitter stating that Slice has passed away, but they are unconfirmed as of now, we will update this story accordingly.
