UWC BACK IN ACTION ON 6/11

By Joseph Grana on 6/7/2016 9:35 AM

The United Wrestling Coalition returns to Kelly’s Bar/Banquet Hall in Wrightstown, New Jersey with not one but TWO great shows in June: June 11 and June 25! As usual, doors will open at 6:30 with a 7:00 p.m. bell time, and admission to each event is $10.

The main event THIS SATURDAY June 11 will be the annual Ron Parks, Sr. Memorial Rumble! Originally known as The Browns Mills Rumble, the match was officially rechristened last year to honor a good friend, a great fan, a loving father, and devoted husband. The Rumble is a 20-man battle royal that begins with two wrestlers in the ring. The remaining participants are introduced one by one at 90-second intervals. A wrestler is eliminated by being thrown over the top rope and having both feet touch the floor. The last man standing is the winner and may challenge for any UWC championship they want, whenever they want. Adam “Aces” Chandler will be in The Rumble, and so will reigning Tag Team Champions Warhead & Spectrum, The United Force. Dave Davis and current United States Champion "The One" Geoffrey Bravo have also entered The Rumble, as have The “Jersey Shore Madman” Slayer, Bobby Piper, Delmonico The Destroyer, Textbook Philly Madison, and Big Rig. More participants in The Ron Parks, Sr. Memorial Rumble to be announced.

THIS SATURDAY will also see the retirement of UWC icons The Ripper & Billy Lassiter of The Unholy Alliance. In their final bout, they will take on the combination of former ally Big Rig and the recently-returned Bubba, collectively known as Living Xtremely Violent, or LXV. At our May event, Ripper & Lassiter dished out a severe beating to Bubba and promised more of the same in their retirement match. The Unholy Alliance will pull out all the stops, but LXV can give as good as they can get. Don’t miss your last chance to see Billy Lassiter and The Ripper in action THIS SATURDAY!

The “Thriller” Andd Bivians pinned Textbook Philly Madison on May 7, 2016 to capture the United Wrestling Coalition Heavyweight Championship! The match was not without its share of controversy, however, because Textbook Philly Madison had his foot on the ropes as Referee George Pinaha counted to three. Neither Andd Bivians nor the ref saw his foot on the ropes, and President Joe Rules has stated that the referee’s decision is final. The controversy will be cleared up THIS SATURDAY when the rematch takes place. That’s right, UWC Heavyweight Champion The “Thriller” Andd Bivian’s first title defense will be June 11, 2016 at Kelly’s Banquet Hall in Wrightstown, New Jersey against the former titleholder Textbook Philly Madison!

United Wrestling Coalition United States Champion "The One" Geoffrey Bravo will defend his title against five-time former UWC Tag Team Champion Adam "Aces" Chandler THIS SATURDAY at Kelly’s Banquet Hall in Wrightstown, New Jersey!

JUST ADDED TO THIS SATURDAY’S EVENT: In a huge six-man tag team attraction, The "Jersey Shore Madman" Slayer joins forces with the combination of Nate Mustang & The "Lost Boy" Jay Kirby to take on "Brilliant" Bobby Banks & TGI Fredo Majors and their partner Dave Davis!

Also scheduled to appear THIS SATURDAY June 11: Definitely Donnie, Kleetus, Jimmy Pipes, Tony Stryker, Ring Announcer Daisy, and more!

The UWC is getting ready for summer break, but with so much action still to deliver, we’re offering TWO events in June, and you won’t want to miss a single second!

On June 11, fans will fill out ballots to choose the matches they want to see for Fan Appreciation Night on June 25! There are also opportunities for fans to be special guest ring announcers on Fan Appreciation Night. Check our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/UWCFanCave) for details. Kid USA, Silly Billy, and the returning MIGHTY MO will all be at Fan Appreciation Night, along with a host of others!

Remember, the UWC returns June 11, 2016 AND June 25, 2016 to Kelly’s Bar/Banquet Hall, 14 Railroad Avenue, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Bell time is 7:00 p.m., and tickets to each event are $10.
