Luis Felix is injured and will not be defending his lightweight championship against Ryan Sanders at CES MMA, but Levan Makashvili has agreed to step in and fight Sanders in the new CES MMA 36 main event. Sanders already defeated Luis Felix in a non-title bout this past January and he is the current Toe 2 Toe Fights Lightweight Champion. Makashvili will be competing for the first time since his UFC release, which came after a draw against Damon Jackson at UFC On Fox 18. CES MMA 36 takes place on June 10th from the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
