Three time UFC Featherweight Title challenger and longtime UFC veteran Chad Mendes has been flagged by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) for failing an out of competition drug test. Although a substance was not named by USADA or the UFC at this point, it was obviously something illegal if it popped up on the test. Mendes has not competed since December 2015, where he suffered a first round knockout loss to Frankie Edgar at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale and he has not fights scheduled anytime in the future.
