Despite not yet competing in a professional or amateur MMA bout, Bellator MMA has signed Joey Davis to a multi-fight contract. Davis has a lot of experience as an amateur wrestler though because he is a four time NCAA Division II National Champion, he held a record of 131-0-0 during his time in the NCAA. There is no debut date set yet for Davis, but it is expected to happen before the end of the year, but it could come in early 2017 as well.
