Fight #9 - UFC Women’s Flyweight Division Fight: Joanne Calderwood (10-1-0) vs. Valerie Letourneau (8-4-0)

Round One
The round begins with Calderwood attacking Letourneau with a few kicks, Letourneau starts hitting Calderwood with some punches. Calderwood grabs a hold of Letourneau and the two exchange knee strikes, Letourneau spins Calderwood and uses dirty boxing on her. Calderwood scores a takedown on Letourneau and she gets the full guard, Claderwood escapes an arm bar attempt to smash Letourneau with a right. Calderwood escapes a second arm bar attempt and both fighters get to their feet, Calderwood cracks Letourneau with a two punch combination. Calderwood drops Letourneau with a spinning back fist and she pounces on her with a ton of strikes, Calderwood gets back up and she allows Letourneau to stand up as well. Letourneau then cracks Calderwood with a punching combination, the women have a striking exchange as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Calderwood hitting Letourneau with a three punch combination, Letourneau responds by kicking Calderwood in the midsection. Letourneau follows that up by catching Calderwood with punching combinations, Calderwood looks for the takedown as Letourneau nails her with some more strikes. Calderwood starts mixing in some more kicks in her attack on Letourneau, Letourneau also adds the jab in her work against Calderwood. Calderwood scores a takedown on Letourneau and she gets the half guard, Calderwood attacks Letourneau with some ground and pound. Letourneau wall walks to her feet with Calderwood holding onto her, Letourneau separates from Calderwood while throwing some strikes. Letourneau then connects with a kick to the midsection of Calderwood, Calderwood scores another takedown on Letourneau and she gets the open guard. Calderwood postures up and kicks away at the legs of Letourneau, Letourneau scrambles to her feet as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Calderwood attacking Letourneau with some kicks, Letourneau responds and she cracks Calderwood with a head kick. Calderwood looks for the takedown and Letourneau cracks her with an elbow strike, Calderwood holds Letourneau against the cage wall while eating some knee strikes. Calderwood rocks Letourneau with a jumping kick to the midsection, Calderwood chases at Letourneau while pounding her with strikes. Letourneau has a slight wardrobe malfunction after a Calderwood kick and the fight is halted, the fight resumes with Calderwood rocking Letourneau with another kick. Calderwood then drops Letourneau with a striking combination and the referee jumps in.

Fight #10 - UFC Lightweight Division Fight: Olivier Aubin-Mercier (8-2-0) vs. Thibault Gouti (11-1-0)

Round One
The round begins with the fighters attacking each other with jabs, Aubin-Mercier grabs a hold of Gouti and he holds him against the cage wall. Gouti separates and he cracks Aubin-Mercier with a right, Gouti charges at Aubin-Mercier while throwing strikes. Aubin-Mercier attacks Gouti with a head kick that gets blocked, Aubin-Mercier follows that up by kicking Gouti in the midsection before scoring a takedown. Aubin-Mercier attacks Gouti with some ground and pound, Aubin-Mercier transitions to back control on a scrambling Gouti. Gouti sweeps Aubin-Mercier and gets top position, Gouti immediately attacks Aubin-Mercier with ground and pound. Aubin-Mercier scrambles to his feet to get the fight standing, Aubin-Mercier kicks away at an incoming Gouti, Gouti responds by cracking Aubin-Mercier with an uppercut. Gouti assaults Aubin-Mercier with strikes as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Aubin-Mercier quickly hunting for the takedown on Gouti, Gouti grabs a hold of Aubin-Mercier to nail him with a knee strike. Aubin-Mercier responds with a punching combination on Gouti, Aubin-Mercier starts catching Gouti with jabs. Aubin-Mercier then catches a swinging Gouti with a counter strike combination, Aubin-Mercier scores a takedown on Gouti and he gets the open guard. Aubin-Mercier transitions to the half guard on Gouti, Gouti is able to get Aubin-Mercier back into the full guard as he eats some strikes as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Aubin-Mercier quickly holding Gouti up against the cage wall, Aubin-Mercier scores a takedown on Gouti and he gets back control. Aubin-Mercier starts looking for the rear naked choke on Gouti, Gouti tries to escape and Aubin-Mercier locks him in the rear naked choke to force a tap out.

Fight #11 - UFC Light Heavyweight Division Fight: Steve Bosse (11-2-0) vs. Sean O’Connell (17-7-0)

Round One
The round begins with Bosse attacking O’Connell with a punching combination, the fighters have a wild striking exchange in the center of the octagon. Bosse then cracks O’Connell with a few rights, O’Connell drops Bosse with a huge punching combination. O’Connell continues pounding on a downed Bosse with ground and pound, Bosse scrambles to his feet to get the fight standing. Bosse separates from and cracks O’Connell with a right, O’Connell recovers and kicks Bosse in the midsection. O’Connell chases Bosse around the octagon while landing strikes, the fighters grapple and battle for position along the cage wall. Bosse hits O’Connell with a few lefts to the midsection before separating, Bosse hits O’Connell with a spinning back fist after a wild exchange. Bosse looks for a takedown as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with another slugfest in the middle of the octagon, O’Connell forces Bosse into the cage wall while looking for a takedown. O’Connell uses some dirty boxing on Bosse while in the clinch, the fighters separate from each other and O’Connell cracks a swinging Bosse with a counter left. Bosse rocks O’Connell with a right hook, Bosse trips O’Connell and he pounces on him with strikes when he hits the ground. Bosse postures up before attacking O’Connell with more strikes, Bosse advances to side control as he lands more shots on O’Connell. Bosse gains back control on O’Connell and he pounds on him with more strikes, O’Connell scrambles to his feet and he nails Bosse with knee strikes as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with O’Connell nailing Bosse with leg kicks, Bosse then cracks O’Connell with four straight rights to the face. The fighters just have a plethora of striking exchanges all around the octagon, O’Connell then catches Bosse with a two punch combination. Bosse recovers and he catches O’Connell with a spinning back fist, O’Connell then hits a spinning Bosse with a left hook. O’Connell follows that up by cracking Bosse with a forearm strike, O’Connell grabs a hold of Bosse and he holds him against the cage wall. The fighters separate and Bosse attacks O’Connell with another spinning back fist, the fighters have one more wild exchange as the round ends.

Fight #12 - UFC Welterweight Division Fight: Donald Cerrone (29-7-0-1NC) vs. Patrick Cote (24-9-0)

Round One
The round begins with Cote quickly catching Cerrone with an overhand right, Cerrone scores a takedown on Cote and he gets the full guard. Cerrone starts attacking Cote with some ground and pound, Cote uses an omaplata attempt to get the fight standing again. Cerrone starts nailing Cote with leg kicks, Cerrone then catches a swinging Cote with a head kick. Cerrone scores another takedown on Cote and he gets the half guard, Cerrone transitions to back control on Cote. Cote causes a scramble to shake Cerrone off of him as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Cote kicking Cerrone in the midsection, Cerrone responds with a three punch combination on Cote. Cerrone also starts attacking Cote with some leg kicks, Cerrone backs Cote into the cage wall with a striking combination. Cerrone then pops Cote in the midsection with a front kick, Cerrone continues attacking Cote with punching combinations. Cote recovers and he catches Cerrone with an uppercut, Cote starts nailing Cerrone with some kicks as well. Cerrone rocks Cote with a pair of lefts and a kick to the midsection, Cerrone drops Cote with a left and he pounces on him with strikes before allowing him to stand up. Cote then kicks Cerrone right in the midsection, Cerrone backs Cote into the cage wall with a huge combination as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Cerrone instantly attacking Cote with leg kicks, Cerrone drops Cote with a punching combination. Cerrone allows Cote to stand back up after posturing over him, Cerrone eats a few shots before attacking Cote with a high kick. Cote cracks an incoming Cerrone with a short right, Cerrone continues attacking Cote with a variety of kicks. Cerrone drops Cote with a pair of rights and he pounces on him with more strikes until the referee jumps in.

Main Event - UFC Welterweight Division Fight: Rory MacDonald (18-3-0) vs. Stephen Thompson (12-1-0)

Round One
The round begins with Thompson attacking MacDonald with a side kick, MacDonald attempts a rolling heel hook and Thompson escapes. Thompson then hits MacDonald with a kick to the midsection, MacDonald responds by catching Thompson with a head kick. MacDonald continues to roll for the heel hook on a standing Thompson, Thompson catches MacDonald with a front kick to the rib cage. Thompson follows that up by attacking MacDonald with a spinning kick to the midsection, Thompson gets MacDonald onto the cage wall after using some dirty boxing. The fighters separate and the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with MacDonald attacking Thompson with a side kick, MacDonald charges at Thompson while throwing a few strikes. The fighters also nail each other with some leg kicks as well, MacDonald starts rolling for that heel hook takedown. MacDonald grabs a hold of Thompson and he holds him against the cage wall, Thompson breaks free after hitting MacDonald with an elbow strike. Thompson pops in and out while attacking MacDonald with punches, Thompson then hits MacDonald with some more side kicks to the rib cage as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Thompson hitting MacDonald with some leg kicks, MacDonald comes forward and he attacks Thompson with a few strikes. Thompson hits MacDonald with a high kick and a follow up right, MacDonald responds by hitting a swinging Thompson with a counter punch. MacDonald pulls guard to get the fight to the ground, MacDonald rolls for a heel hook and Thompson stands right up. Thompson and MacDonald exchange a few rights, Thompson then hits a charging MacDonald with a few strikes. MacDonald starts catching Thompson with a few rights, Thompsons next move sees him hit MacDonald with a two punch combo. Thompson cracks a charging MacDonald with a counter strike combo as the round ends.
Round Four
The round begins with MacDonald cracking Thompson with a short right, Thompson also begins attacking MacDonald with leg kicks. MacDonald comes forward at Thompson while throwing strikes, MacDonald eats a left from Thompson after landing a knee strike. MacDonald briefly rocks Thompson with a multiple punch combination, Thompson responds by attacking the midsection of MacDonald with some punches. Thompson follows that up by landing a side kick on MacDonald, MacDonald responds by popping a kicking Thompson with a counter right. Thompson recovers and hits an incoming MacDonald with a right hook, Thompson swings at MacDonald as the round ends.
Round Five
The round begins with MacDonald charging at Thompson while throwing punches, Thompson recovers to attack MacDonald with a side kick. Thompson starts catching MacDonald with boxing combinations, MacDonald rocks a swinging Thompson with a counter right.MacDonald comes forward on Thompson while landing some punches, Thompson tries fighting back to keep MacDonald at a distance. Thompson barely lands a wheel kick on MacDonald, MacDonald pulls guard on Thompson to get the fight to the ground. Thompson starts attacking MacDonald with some ground and pound, Thompson stands up and he allows MacDonald to stand as well. Thompson then rocks MacDonald with a partially blocked head kick, Thompson then hits MacDonald with a kick to the midsection. MacDonald comes forward on Thompson while attempting some strikes, Thompson attempts a spinning back kick as the round ends.
