Bellator MMA Heavyweight Division Fight
Satoshi Ishii (14-5-1) vs. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (36-11-0)
Ishii will be making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight and he is a former Inoki Genome Federation Heavyweight Champion. Jackson will be returning to Bellator MMA for the first time in two years as he was dealing with a legal matter involving the promotion. Ishii last competed in the Rizin FF Heavyweight Tournament, losing to Jiri Prochazka in the opening round. Jackson enters the fight riding a four fight winning streak, with notable wins coming over King Mo and Fabio Maldonado. The majority is Ishii’s losses have come via TKO/KO and Jackson is one of the best knockout specialists in all of MMA, Jackson finishes Ishii with strikes in the first.
Co-Main Event
Bellator MMA Lightweight Title Decision Fight
“Iron” Michael Chandler (14-3-0) vs. Patricky “Pitbull” Freire (16-7-0)
Chandler is a former Bellator MMA Lightweight Champion and he will enter the fight on a two fight winning streak. Freire has won three of his last four under the Bellator MMA banner, which includes a win over Ryan Couture. Chandler already holds a win over Freire, as he defeated the fighter by decision at Bellator 44. Freire will be challenging for the lightweight title for the first time in his career, he has been in Bellator MMA for over five years now. Which Chandler will be showing up may be the biggest factor of all, but Chandler has a better game overall and he finishes Freire with strikes in the third.
Bellator MMA Heavyweight Division Fight
Matt “Meathead” Mitrione (9-5-0) vs. Carl “”Bad Water” Seumanutafa (10-6-0)
Mitrione will be making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight, he previously spent his entire professional MMA career in the UFC. Seumanutafa is currently undefeated in Bellator MMA, having defeated Javy Ayala at Bellator 148. This fight is going to be a slugfest for as long as it lasts, but it will be Mitrione getting the first round finish.
Bellator MMA Women’s Flyweight Division Fight
Ilima-Lei “The Ilimanator” MacFarlane (3-0-0) vs. “Ruthless” Rebecca Ruth (6-1-0)
MacFarlane has already won two fights in Bellator MMA and she is best known for her controversial fight against Katie Castro at Xplode Fight Series: Hurricane. Ruth is currently undefeated in Bellator MMA, having defeated Lena Ovchynnikova by decision at Bellator 150. Ruth pulled a huge upset in her first Bellator MMA appearance, she does the same thing again as she grounds MacFarlane on route to a decision.
