A trio of title fights will headline CES MMA 37 as Andre Soukhamthath defends the bantamweight title against Kin Moy, Matt Bessette faces Pedro Gonzalez for the vacant featherweight title and Ashley Gooch faces Greg Rebello for the vacant heavyweight title.
Soukhamthath will be making the first defense of his champion, having defeated Kody Nordby at CES MMA 33 to win the title. Moy is coming off of a pair of victories in Bellator MMA, he has won two of three in CES MMA competition.
Bessette is a longtime veteran of Bellator MMA and CES MMA, he once challenged for the Reality Fighting Featherweight Championship. Gonzalez will enter the fight on a four fight winning streak and he is the current Global Fight League Featherweight Champion.
Gooch will enter the fight riding a seven fight winning streak and none of those seven wins went to the judge’s scorecards. Rebello will enter the fight on a four fight winning streak, which includes a win over Bellator MMA veteran Mike Mucitelli. CES MMA 37 takes place on August 12th from the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhodes Island with Andre Soukhamthath and Kin Moy headlining.
