6/25 UWC RESULTS FROM WRIGHTSTOWN, NJ

By Joe Grana on 6/27/2016 11:21 AM

RESULTS:

United Wrestling Coalition
Fan Appreciation Night

Wrightstown, New Jersey at Kelly's Banquet Hall
June 25, 2016

Ring Announcers: Daisy and Corey, Fred, and Shelby
Referee: George Pinaha
President: Joe Rules

Before the action got under way, all wrestlers came out onto the stage to honor Franklin D. McNew, Jr., better known to UWC fans as manager Officer Big, who passed away earlier this month with a 10-Bell Salute.

At our last event, fans had the opportunity to vote for the matches they wanted to see at Fan Appreciation Night. They voted for three championship matches, two dream matches, a specialty match, and a match between their favorite wrestler and their most hated wrestler.

1) Fans were able to choose between a Hair vs. Hair Match, a Lumberjack Match, a Survivor Series-Style Elimination Tag Team Match, a Last Man Standing Match, or a Six-Gun Challenge Match. When the votes were tallied, it was determined the specialty match of the night would be the Survivor Series-Style Elimination Tag Team Match!

The rules are as follows: Two teams of four compete under standard tag team rules. When a member of a team is pinned, submits, is counted out, or disqualified, he is eliminated from the match and must return to the locker room. The match continues until all four members of one of the teams has been eliminated!

The first team consisted of Bobby Piper (with his manager Mr. Black) & JJ Cruz (accompanied by Craig Z-List) & Jimmy Pipes & Kleetus.

Their opponents were Adam “Aces” Chandler & The Masked Man & Definitely Donnie ... and ... Daisy!!

The Masked Man was the first to be eliminated, by Jimmy Pipes.

Wrestler-turned-ring announcer-turned wrestler/ring announcer Daisy showed off her wrestling ability, mixing it up with JJ Cruz, and even giving him an airplane spin. But when she was distracted by Craig Z-List, Bobby Piper rolled her up in a schoolboy to eliminate her. (Daisy, however, was not required to leave ringside, as she was still the ring announcer.)

Definitely Donnie eliminated Jimmy Pipes. Kleetus eliminated Definitely Donnie with a stunner.

Immediately after that, Adam Chandler hit the spear on Kleetus and eliminated him. Chandler then eliminated JJ Cruz.

It was down to Adam Chandler and Bobby Piper for their respective teams. As Chandler gained the upper hand, Mr. Black tripped him, allowing Piper to take over.

Piper hit the ropes to finish off Chandler, but this time, Daisy tripped Piper! An angry Bobby Piper pulled Daisy up onto the ring apron. Daisy chopped Piper! He turned around just in time for a big spear from Adam Chandler. Adam Chandler is the sole survivor!

2) The Dream Match the fans voted for was a battle between LXV tag team partners Big Rig and Bubba! These two held nothing back in what turned into a hard-hitting old-fashioned bar room brawl that saw Big Rig pin Bubba.

3) UWC Fan Corey was guest ring announcer for the Dream Tag Team Match: Dave Davis & Craig Francis defeated The Sons of Liberty- “American Muscle” Nate Mustang & The “Lost Boy” Jay Kirby.

4) In an outstanding bout, The “Thriller” Andd Bivians defended the UWC Heavyweight Championship against The “Extreme Redneck” Chuck Payne. Payne used his size and strength to his advantage, but by consistently going after Payne’s left leg, Bivians was able to retain his title via a figure-four leg-lock submission!

As a result of winning The 2016 Rumble two weeks ago, Textbook Philly Madison has a contract that allows him to challenge for any UWC Championship at any time. He and Mr. Black came down to ringside, threatening to cash in on Andd Bivians after his grueling match. The former titleholder Philly Madison, however, then decided that this was not the right time, and chose NOT to challenge for the Heavyweight Title at this time.

5) Fans were able to vote for any two wrestlers to get a shot at the UWC Tag Team Championship. The United Force - Warhead & Spectrum would defend the belts against the two highest vote-getters: T.G.I. Fredo Majors (who was accompanied by his usual partner, “Brilliant” Bobby Banks) and.... The “Jersey Shore Madman” Slayer!

Although Majors had no interest in teaming with Slayer, Bobby Banks was actually able to control The “Jersey Shore Madman” with a dog whistle. It actually seemed as though Majors & Slayer could tag home the gold. But when Banks dropped the whistle, Slayer was able to clear the cobwebs and clobbered The Brilliant One. This gave Warhead the opportunity he needed to bulldog Fredo Majors, followed up by a splash from Spectrum for the three-count.

6) UWC Fan Fred was guest ring announcer for the United States Title Match. After the Champion “The One” Geoffrey Bravo was introduced, he grabbed the mic and said, “The fans’ first choice to face me chickened out, the fans’ SECOND choice to face me chickened out, so bring out their LAST choice!”  Geoffrey Bravo’s challenger would be none other than The Great Cerenzio.

The champion was in control for most of the match, but after Bravo delivered the English Leg Sweep, he decided Cerenzio hadn’t had enough yet, and pulled him up before Referee George Pinaha could count to three. Bravo pulled Cerenzio to his feet for a second English Leg Sweep, but instead, Cerenzio rolled him up for a three-count!

Geoffrey Bravo can’t believe it, but The Great Cerenzio is the new UWC United States Champion!

7) UWC June Fan of the Month Shelby was guest ring announcer for the Favorite Wrestler vs. Most Hated Wrestler Match. Fans were ecstatic to see their favorite Silly Billy take on the wrestler they hate the most: Textbook Philly Madison, along with his manager Mr. Black. In the end, Silly Billy hit Philly with the Superkick, but before he could pin him and finally shut him up, Bobby Piper ran in for a disqualification. Piper, Madison, and Mr. Black put the boots to Silly Billy until The Party Rockers - Adam “Aces” Chandler & UWC Heavyweight Champion The “Thriller” Andd Bivians made the save.

The United Wrestling Coalition has officially kicked off their summer vacation! Thank you so much to all the wrestlers, support staff, and each and every fan, and especially The Honorable President and Former Heavyweight Champion Joe Rules! 2016 may be half over, but there’s plenty of action still to come in second half of our season. We’ll see you all SEPTEMBER 10 at Kelly’s Banquet Hall in Wrightstown, New Jersey! For more information visit www.facebook.com/UWCFanCave
