By Mike Johnson on 6/29/2016 8:32 AM

Nashville, TN - Freedom Pro Wrestling, fresh off their debut
in Tennessee on May 21st with "NASHville", will return on
July 2nd with former WCW boss and WWE Raw General Manager
Eric Bischoff. Eric is the new authority figure for Freedom
Pro Wrestling and has taken on the title of President,
effective immediately.

Eric Bischoff's first act at the helm of Freedom Pro was to
announce that "Cowboy" James Storm has been named #1
contender and will challenge Freedom Pro Wrestling
Heavyweight Champion CJ O'Doyle on July 2nd. He's promised
to announce more matches this week.

Eric Bischoff is perhaps the most controversial figure in
sports entertainment. In 1994, Eric took over WCW and took
them head to head with WWE in the Monday Night Wars. In
1996, he along with Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Hulk Hogan,
changed the face of wrestling by forming the New World
Order. After WCW's purchase by WWE in 2001, Eric took some
time off before shocking the wrestling world by showing up
as WWE Monday Night Raw General Manager in 2002.

In 2006, Eric added bestselling author to his many accolades
when his autobiography "Controversy Creates Cash" made the
New York Times Bestselling list. Today, the WWE released a
new 3 DVD set detailing Eric's career entitled "Sports
Entertainment's Most Controversial Figure."
