Following the injury to Siyar Bahadurzada, Ross Pearson will step in on short notice to fight Jorge Masvidal at UFC 201. Pearson will be making his welterweight division debut in this fight, having previously fought at lightweight and featherweight. Masvidal has only won just one of his last four under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Cezar Ferreira at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale. UFC 201 takes place on July 30th from the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia with Robbie Lawler and Tyron Woodley headlining.
