New England Championship Wrestling proudly presents World Women’s Wrestling in a first ever special event – The 2016 IRON MAIDEN Championship, Saturday night, August 13 at the Americal Civic Center, 467 Main Street, Wakefield, MA with a 7 PM bell time.
This event is a women’s version of NECW’s innovative IRON 8 Tournament. 8 women will compete in 4 one on one match ups, with the 4 winners facing off in a 4 way, 30 minute iron woman match. The woman who scores the most pins or submissions in 30 minutes is the winner and the 2016 IRON MAIDEN Champion with a trophy being awarded to the winner. In addition. as Nikki Valentine was stripped of the Triple W Championship on Saturday night, July 9 at The Brockton Fair, the winner of the tournament will also be crowned the new World Women’s Wrestling Champion.
The eight women signed to compete in the tournament are: Triple W Champion, Nikki Valentine, Vanity Vixsin, former Triple W Champions, Mistress Belmont and Alexxis Nevaeh, Tequila Rose, MJ Jenkins, Sonya Strong and the debuting Solo Darling.
In addition to the tournament Team Sea Stars will be in tag team action taking on the team of Hellen Vale and Toxis. There will also be an NECW Fetaure Match to be announced soon.
