Besides failing an out of competition drug test that took place prior to UFC 200, heavyweight fighter and current WWE wrestler Brock Lesnar has also failed a second drug test according to the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) and this one was an in competition drug test. The UFC made the announcement earlier today, it was also revealed that Lesnar’s second drug test failure was for the same substance that he failed the first test first, that substance has yet to be identified by the UFC or USADA.
For those who do not know, an in competition drug test is a drug test that is administered either twelve hours before or after a fight. USADA has yet to make any kind of statement on the second drug test failure or any kind of additional punishment Lesnar could face, as the fighter is already facing a potential two year suspension and financial penalty for the first drug test failure. The WWE, where Lesnar will be wrestling at next month for WWE Summerslam, has also yet to issue a statement on the second drug test failure.
