With current flyweight champion Tim Elliott competing on TUF 24, an interim flyweight champion will now be crowned at Titan Fighting Championships 40 as Jose Torres takes on Abdiel Velazquez. Torres is currently undefeated as a pro and he has spent his entire professional MMA career in Titan FC. Velazquez is currently undefeated in Titan FC competition, defeating Alexis Vila at Titan FC 39. Titan Fighting Championships 40 takes place on August 5th from the Bank United Center in Coral Gables, Florida with Gesias Cavalcante and Freddy Assuncao headlining.
