Tachi Palace Fights veteran Stephen Cervantes, whose current MMA record is 6-1-0, was arrested by the Bernalillo County’s Sheriffs Department (New Mexico) on August 15th for suspicion of rapping and sexually assaulting a fifteen year old girl in 2015. The fighter is currently being held in a Bernalillo County prison on a $50,000 cash only bail, he is still in jail as of this writing. According to the story by the unnamed fifteen year old girl, Cervantes had sex with her at least five times, the police department had been investigating the crimes since last year. Cervantes was set to challenge for the CES MMA Featherweight Title this Friday Night at CES MMA 37 prior to the arrest, he has been pulled from the card and Joe Pingitore will be fighting in his place.
