For 20 years "The Legendary" Rex Roberts has been considered by the vast majority the greatest wrestler ever produced in the province of Saskatchewan and on September 22nd in Yorkton, Saskatchewan he will get the biggest match of his career when he challenges for a World Championship!
Nick "MAGNUS" Aldis made history when he won a tournament crowning him the first ever Global Force Wrestling World Champion and he looks to add prestige to that reign with defenses around the World including Canada on CWE's Destined For Greatness Tour.
However, that goal may be cut short as his first defense on the tour is against one man who arguably has never got his just due in the grand scheme of the wrestling World and a man many feel should have been on a Global stage many years ago,
From his rookie years as a junior heavyweight sensation that saw him introduce an innovative arsenal never witnessed before in Central Canada including a picture perfect 450 splash that had never been witnessed before live in 1997 in this part of the country to growing into a main event heavyweight champion and performer, Rex Roberts is as well rounded and accomplished as they come.
Some feel the geography of his residence in the province of Saskatchewan may have held Roberts back from bigger stages over time but he will now have the ability to eliminate that stigma when for the first time in Yorkton, Saskatchewan he challenges for a solidified and recognized World Championship.
