8/24- Famous Wrestling Voice Announced As First Legends Of Wrestling Guest.
Central and Western Canadian wrestling fans have been buzzing for hours since the announcement of Canadian Wrestling's Elite's Legends Of Wrestling: Professional Wrestling & Sports Convention.
With almost 8 years of presenting Canadian wrestling fans the very best and biggest stars of professional wrestling fans know by reputation they are in for something special with this new venture of CWE.
It can now be announced that the very first special guest appearing on this event is professional wrestling's most iconic ring announcer of all time, Howard Finkel!
"The Fink" was hired as the then WWWF's first employee in 1975, making his Madison Square Garden debut in 1977 where he would go on to create a legacy within the industry as one of if not the most recognized voices in the history of professional wrestling. He is still under WWE contract to this day.
With a career spanning multiple generations you will be hard pressed to find a wrestling fan who hasn't imitated Finkel's infamous voice when doing their own introduction of themselves, friends or favorite wrestling stars. Even pro wrestlers or aspiring pro wrestlers all dream of one day being introduced by the legendary Howard Finkel.
A small tidbit many people don't know is Howard Finkel actually came up with the name "Wrestlemania" the now Globally known annual event. Being an employee of WWE means wearing many hats and even as a ring announcer Howard Finkel found himself involved in on screen story lines with the likes of Kamala, Harvey Whippleman, Jeff Jarrett, X-Pac, Chris Jericho and many more throughout his career.
On February 18th you can now hear that infamous voice in person and meet the man behind it!
