By David Tees on 9/2/2016 9:19 PM

The UFC is going international this week with another loaded card with plenty of great action that all MMA fans will want to be checking out. Headlining UFC Fight Night 93 will be a heavyweight division affair between Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett. Also, Alexander Gustafsson takes on Jan Blachowicz and Ryan Bader will be looking to get back on track.

Main Card

Main Event

UFC Heavyweight Division Fight

Andre “The Pitbull” Arlovski (25-12-0-1NC) vs. Josh “The Warmaster” Barnett (34-8-0)

Arlovski will be entering the fight on a two fight losing streak and he has not earned a victory in nearly a full year. Barnett has rotated wins and losses in his second UFC run, with his last bout being a loss to Ben Rothwell at UFC On Fox 18. Arlovski has won a total of four fights since returning to the UFC and he is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion. Barnett has not put a winning streak together in over three years and he is also a former UFC Heavyweight Champion. Barnett’s best shot to win is to get the fight in the clinch, but Arlovski uses his counters and his speed to finish Barnett with strikes in the second round.

Co-Main Event

UFC Light Heavyweight Division Fight

Jan Blachowicz (19-5-0) vs. Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson (16-4-0)

Blachowicz has won just one of his last three heading into this fight, with that lone win coming over Igor Pokrajac at UFC Fight Night: Rothwell vs. Dos Santos. Gustafsson has won just one of his last four under the UFC banner, with two of those losses coming in title fights. Blachowicz actually defeated four UFC veterans in four consecutive fights before signing with the UFC in 2014. Gustafsson is on the first losing streak of his career and he has not put together a winning streak in almost four years. Gustaffson will not have a huge reach advantage in this fight, but he is the better striker and he uses those strikes to get a decision win.

UFC Light Heavyweight Division Fight

Ryan “Darth” Bader (20-5-0) vs. Ilir “The Sledgehammer” Latifi (12-4-0-1NC)

Bader has won five of his last six fights under the UFC banner and all five of those wins have come by way of decision. Latifi will be entering the fight on a three fight winning streak, with two of those wins coming in less than a minutes time. Latifi has the power to put Bader to sleep quickly, but Bader uses his wrestling game to secure a decision win.

UFC Lightweight Division Fight

Tae Hyun “The Supernatural” Bang (18-9-0) vs. “Sergeant” Nick Hein (13-2-0-1NC)

Bang has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC run, with his last fight being a win over Leo Kuntz at UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs. Masvidal. Hein has won three of four fights during his UFC tenure and he enters this fight on a two fight winning streak. Bang is the far superior striker in this fight, but Hein grounds him and that will be earning him a decision win.
