FORMER WWE SUPERSTAR TO WRESTLE IN SALAMANCA

Ex-WWE superstar Adam Rose to be showcased alongside Western New York wrestling talent

Empire State Wrestling (ESW) returns to Salamanca at the annual Falling Leaves Festival in Jefferson Park on Friday, September 30 featuring former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Adam Rose. The show starts at 5:30pm and is free of charge.

Rose is most known for his “Exotic Express”, in which an entourage of his most endearing fans, called “Rose Buds”, accompanies him to the ring while embellishing his party animal lifestyle. The South Africa native also boasts success in WWE’s developmental system, holding the Florida Heavyweight Championship on two occasions.

The show will also include some of the top independent wrestling talent in the Northeast. Former Japanese wrestling star Punisher Van Slyke will appear, as well as Erie, Pennsylvania’s “Omega” Aaron Draven. ESW regulars Kevin Bennett, Frankie Feathers and Vince Valor will compete, with more to be announced.

ESW promotes eight shows a year, primarily held at the St. Johnsburg Fire Hall in North Tonawanda, N.Y., boasting crowds of over 400 wrestling fans, who come to cheer the good guys and boo the bad guys of the sport. Twice a year, larger “super show” events are held at the Kenan Center in Lockport, N.Y., drawing crowds of up to 1,000.

Founded in 2002, ESW is an independent professional wrestling promotion run by Brett Stymus of Lockport. Over half of the performers involved in ESW reside in the Western New York area.
