FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Rob Russen and Sal Corrente's reborn International Wrestling Association is poised to give wrestling fans a unique opportunity. The IWA, which relaunches on Friday, November 25, in Hamburg PA with Thankslamming '16: A Tradition Begins, and then heads into Paulsboro NJ with IWA Live From The World Famous Monster Factory, is giving fans an opportunity to be a part of this huge relaunch and expansion in a very special way.

Through the phenomenon of crowdfunding, the IWA is offering wrestling fans the opportunity to help expand the relaunch, and to actually become a part of the show! In the official statement from the IWA Offices, management stated "We are going to be launching with a minimum of two live events per month, a weekly television program in key markets across the nation, and a very strong talent roster. As with any startup, there is no such thing as having too much funding. We are offering true wrestling fans the opportunity to essentially buy into the rebirth of this 27 year old wrestling promotion".

Fans who contribute to the funding, via www.gofundme.com/iwaprowrestling , will receive rewards ranging from autographed DVD's, season tickets, lifetime passes, executive producer credits on all broadcasts, and even the opportunity to present championship belts to the winners of the initial tournaments.

The IWA will use all funds raised through this effort to expand its television production and programming, grow its live events operations into new markets, and to work with our over seas partners on future tours.

IWA's President of Operations, Dewey J Welch, went on to explain this exciting concept further. "We had many options to do this", Welch said. "Of course, Heir Apparent Entertainment (the agency overseeing the day to day operations of the IWA) is funding the operations and relaunch, but, when any business begins a project and plans to immediately grow that project, you have to look at further funding. We had the option of raising funds through the rather cold, impersonal finance world, which is the route most corporations take. We could have easily performed a private or public placement to solicit investors, another impersonal function. But when we sat down with Rob Russen, a true fan of the sport of professional wrestling, we all knew that we had to involve the fans in this. And, so, we are taking this to the wrestling fans themselves".

The International Wrestling Association has its roots in 1989 when AWA Vice President Rob Russen and AWA co founder Wally Karbo left Verne Gagne's AWA to begin a new tradition in professional wrestling. With crowds reaching into the thousands, tours of North America, Asia, and Australia, the IWA has always been the standard bearer in traditional professional wrestling.
