WEEKEND RESULTS FROM CWE IN WINNIPEG INCLUDING MAGNUS DEFENDING GFW TITLE

10/2- CWE Winnipeg, MB 9/30 & Thunder Bay, ON 10/1 Results.

 

 

Canadian Wrestling's Elite wrapped up the 10 show, 10 day, four province Destined For Greatness Tour with two sell out shows in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ontario. Here is what went down!

 

 

9/30- Winnipeg, Manitoba

 

 

1) "The Canadian Crusher" AJ Sanchez returned to the Holy Cross Gymnasium Hall for the first time in over 2 years and defeated "Murder City Saint" Nate Hardy who accompanied by Robb Mass with a Pearl River Plunge.

 

2) 6'7" "Big" Bobby Schink made his professional wrestling & CWE debut destroying "Super Dad" Bubbles McFly in mere minutes.

 

3) In a shocking conclusion The Cannon Clan consisting of "The Rebel" Bobby Collins & "The Rabid Dog" Rob Stardom with "The Mastermind" Kevin Cannon captured the CWE Tag Team Championships from Pain & Punishments (Mr. Inkredible & Antonio Scorpio) with the assistance of the revealed new member "The Crazed Country Rebel" Jacob Creed.

 

4) "Tasty" Travis Cole scored the victory in a Four Corners Survival Match that also included Shane Sabre, The Math Magician, and independent wrestling icon "Tornado" Tony Kozina when Cole capitalized stealing a pin on The Math Magician after Sabre hit him with a spear.

 

5) In what was a very controversial ending "Jacked Jesus" Tommy Lee Curtis ended "Wrestling's Strongest Man" Tyler Colton's 2 year reign as champion when senior official Kenny Rogers counted a three count following a flipping neck breaker that many believed Tyler Colton kicked out on before his hand hit the canvass on the final count to become the new champion.

 

6) Global Force Wrestling World Champion Nick "MAGNUS" Aldis retained his title against "Hotshot" Danny Duggan after outside interference by AJ Sanchez hitting Duggan with the championship allowed Aldis to score the victory. Following the match AJ Sanchez and a shocking return of "The Pissed Off Pitbull" Robby Royce led to a blooding beating of Duggan.

 

7) "The Mastermind" Kevin Cannon officially revealed "The Crazy Country Rebel" Jacob Creed as the newest member of The Cannon Clan and the two of them made short work of rookie sensations Jeremy Joseph and DRAGNEEL.

 

8) In what can only be described as an awe inspiring human car crash "Outlaw" Adam Knight continued his near two year undefeated streak capturing the CWE Championship in a 4-Way Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match featuring defending champion "A-List" Anderson Tyson Moore, The Bullet Club's "Crown Jewel" Chase Owens, & 2016 Elite 8 Winner Jason "The Gift" Kincaid ending ATM's reign as champion and the second longest reign in CWE history.

 

 

CWE returns to the Holy Cross Gymnasium Hall on Friday, January 20th featuring Ring Of Honor superstar ACH!

 

 

10/1- Thunder Bay, Ontario

 

 

1) "Wrestling's Strongest Man" Tyler Cotlon furious about the loss of his TV Championship the night before defeated "Tornado" Tony Kozina with authority in the opening contest.

 

2) "The Crazed Country Rebel" Jacob Creed w/"The Rebel" Bobby Collins was victorious in a 3-Way Dance featuring "Tasty" Travis Cole and The Math Magician pinning The Math Magician following a big boot to the face.

 

3) Global Force Wrestling World Champion Nick "MAGNUS" Aldis successfully defended his World Title against Shane Sabre.

 

4) Thunder Bay's own Robb Mass pinned CWE Tag Team Champion "The Rebel" Bobby Collins w/Jacob Creed.

 

5) The Bullet Club's "Crown Jewel" Chase Owens defeated "Hotshot" Danny Duggan with a Package Piledriver in a near 45 minute contested contest.

 

 

CWE returns to Thunder Bay, ON on Saturday, January 21st featuring Ring Of Honor Star ACH.

 

 

CWE is back in action on Friday, October 28th at Rookie's Sports Bar in Winnipeg, Manitoba featuring WWE Legends Demolition!
