The east coast's premier pro wrestling organization Warriors of Wrestling returns to Staten Island with "New Beginnings". The show will take place on January 14th at Funstation USA (3555 Victory Blvd). This will be the first show in the historical tenth year of operation for the company. Commissioner Rob Blatt could not be reached for comment, though company owner Joey B noted that this show would have "many changes that will make the company stronger," while "doing away with those within the company that hold us back from growing".
For the first time in the history of Warriors of Wrestling, as well as sports-entertainment on Staten Island in general, the main event of the night will feature two of the best in women's wrestling. Former WWE and TNA star Victoria will take on rising WOW star Nikki Adams. We have seen in both standard and intergender matches, Adams is adept and has come away with victories including one against current TNA Knockout Allie. Without a doubt, she finds her biggest challenge on January 14thagainst the former WWE Divas champion.
Jasin Karloff was victorious against Darius Carter, Chris Steeler and Rude Boy Riley at our 9th Anniversary show. Not only did he capture both the No Limits and World Heavyweight titles, but he cemented himself in the history of the company as the first ever triple crown champion. His first challenge at "New Beginnings" comes from former champion Abdul Nasir. Having held the championship twice, Nasir is no stranger to gold, and his thugs in The Hostile Collective are never far behind. Will Karloff have a short lived reign?
Surprises come in many forms, as the "King of Chaos" Logan Black found out. His rival, Juba, decided to dress as Santa Claus at our last show and come down to the ring with a sack full of painful gifts, including some exploding plastic candy canes and a street sign! These two men will meet for the first time in a singles match on January 14th. If our last show was any indication, things might get a little messy when these two do battle.
