With the dust now settled on 2016, we recap on the huge event that was BAMMA 27 -  an event that generated a staggering 2.4 Million views online.

BAMMA 27 proved to be an outstanding end to 2017. The fans that packed out the 3Arena were treated to one of the best events of the year, and they responded in turn by creating an atmosphere that had to be seen to be believed.

Just some of the many highlights included Tom 'Firekid' Duquesnoy cementing his place as the top prospect in the world, a new star being born as Rhys McKee was crowned the latest Lonsdale Lightweight Champion and 'Mr Bag & Tag' Nathan Jones bringing to an end the fifteen fight win streak of Walter Gahadza.

It truly was a memorable event and we can’t wait to do it all again in 2017!

BAMMA is coming to Belfast and it’s going to be big.

On 24th February 2017, BAMMA 28 lands at the SSE Arena with one of the biggest bouts ever made in Ireland. Prepare for a titanic battle as Northern Ireland’s very own ‘Stormin’ Norman Parke takes on Ireland’s Paul ‘Redser’ Redmond in a Lightweight feature bout. Also announced is the hugely anticipated match up for the BAMMA Featherweight World Title as Ronnie 'Iron' Mann faces Damien 'Frankenstien' Lapilus.

BAMMA 28: Parke Vs. Redmond takes place at the SSE Arena, Belfast on Friday 24th February 2017.

‘Stormin’ Norman Parke (22-5-1) from Bushmills, Antrim is no stranger to BAMMA events, as he has been spotted numerous times cornering team mates as part of the Next Gen Northern Ireland fight team. One of Europe’s most sought after free agents prior to putting pen to paper with BAMMA, Parke now goes in pursuit of the coveted BAMMA World Lightweight title.

Paul ‘Redser’ Redmond (11-6) landed a victorious homecoming of his own at BAMMA 26, as Redser took out the double tough Chris ‘The Menace’ Stringer to claim the adulation of his hometown support. Redmond now steps into one of the biggest fights ever announced in Ireland, as he takes on Parke in this hugely anticipated match up.

After a stunning debut performance at BAMMA 25, with a KO of Graham ’Afterburner’ Turner, Ronnie ‘Iron’ Mann (25-8-1) now gets his chance at the Featherweight title.  After missing out at BAMMA 27, the Iron Man gym owner feels he is reborn back at his natural weight class and believes that this will be the moment that he claims one of the biggest prizes in European MMA, the BAMMA Featherweight Title.

Frenchman Damien 'Frankenstein' Lapilus (12-6-1) shocked the crowd in attendance at the Barclaycard Arena at BAMMA 23: Night of Champions, when he locked in a rear naked choke at 3:30 of the 1st Round for the upset victory over Jack 'The Pilgrim' McGann. Lapilus now drops a weight class and prepares to face the very dangerous Mann in what is set to be an epic battle for the title.
