Tonight, American Championship Entertainment honored the memory of Mikey Viruet with the third annual Mike Morgan Jr Memorial Tournament, with this year being a tag team edition. 8 teams were fighting for the right to be the holders on the Mike Morgan Jr Memorial Cup. Let’s get under way with results!
First Round:
Style and Finesse of Rob Vegas and Mike Donovan defeated Sebastian Cage and Steve Pena
The Midnight Sensations defeated Golden Shower of Prince Akkanatan and Ultimo Maya
Bad Company defeated Jamal Jackson and the Black Diamond
ACE Tag Team Champions the Duke Boys defeated the New York Wrecking Krew
Non-Tournament Matches:
Chris Raze defeated Sonny Kiss and Kenny Bengal after interference from Vince Steele and Mr. Mustafa
ACE Heavyweight champion Danny Maff defeated Stockade in an impromptu no disqualification match to retain, after Monsta Mack distracted “the Devil’s Outlaw”, which led to Maff Burning Hammering Stockade through a stop sign!
Second Round:
Style and Finesse defeated the ACE Tag Team champion Dukes
The Midnight Sensations defeated Bad Company
Non-Tournament Matches:
Monsta Mack defeated Astro Morales
Adam Payne defeated King Mega. After the match, Anthony “FNB” Ramirez came out and had a pull apart with Payne, which led to the Fat Nasty Bastard to punch out the referee!
Finals:
Style and Finesse defeated the Midnight Sensations to win the Mike Morgan Jr Memorial Cup!
