WWE HALL OF FAMER TONY ATLAS & MORE HEADING TO NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING

New England Championship Wrestling returns to live action on
Friday night, April 14th as Wakefield Academy presents CLASH
OF THE WARRIORS at the Galvin Middle School, 525 Main
Street, Wakefield, MA with an 8 PM bell time.

WWE Hall of Famer, “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas, will be in action,
courtesy of Scott Wilder Promotions.

Atlas teams with former 3 time NECW Champion, Slyck Wagner
Brown and Wakefield High School Football Coach, Steve
Cummings to take on Brute Van Slyke and The Suplex Files,
otherwise known as The Brute Squad.

NECW Heavyweight Champion, Todo Loco, who suffered a serious
knee injury in November requiring surgery. Todo Loco has
informed the company that he will not be cleared by doctors
to compete before summer. Todo Loco will appear in Wakefield
to surrender the championship on April 14th.

The NECW Championship Committee has decided that instead of
holding a tournament for the vacant title, the NECW
Television Champion, “Pure Talent” Chris Escobar, will be
awarded the NECW Heavyweight Championship and the NECW
Television Championship will be declared vacant and decided
at a future date. Escobar, originally signed to defend the
TV title against “The Heat” Kris Pyro will be defending the
NECW Heavyweight Championship instead.

In other matches, there will be a special IRON 8 Preview
Match, as former champion Brad Hollister takes on former
NECW Tag Team Champion, Cooley K back in NECW after spending
2 years in Japan.

In a match to decide the vacant World Women’s Wrestling
Championship, former champions Mistress Belmont with Miss
Sammi Lane and Davienne will square off in an “I Quit
Match.”

In a special World Women's Wrestling Tag Team Challenge,
Tequila Rose & Luscious Latasha battle the team of the
debuting Isana and Adria.

In a match to determining the #1 Contenders to the NECW Tag
Team Championship, Adrenaline Rush battle Kool People.

Plus “Sensational” Scott Levesque takes on the returning
Frankie Vain and more.

Wakefield School Faculty will be making special appearances
as well!
