The most prestigious wrestling tournament in the country returns Friday, August 18th in Winnipeg, Manitoba with the 2017 incarnation of the Elite 8 Tournament!
8 of the wrestling industries elite competitors compete in a one night winner takes all tournament to prove they are actively the elite of the elite in not only Canadian Wrestling's Elite but the wrestling industry as a whole.
This will be the 4th ever Elite 8 Tournament with the first three being won by CWE Icon & International Star MENTALLO, CWE's only Grand Slam Champion in company history Anderson Tyson Moore, & EVOLVE Jason "The Gift" Kincaid in his amazing sendoff after a marvelous 3 year CWE run.
The tournament has also hosted the likes of Chris Hero, Christopher Daniels, Silas Young, Kazarian, Lio Rush, and so many more in this ultimate one night battle.
With the August tour already announcing stars like Silas Young, Chase Owens, Jonathan Gresham, Shane Sabre, Phil Atlas, Shane Sabre, Tony Kozina and so many more top tier stars from across the continent it can only imagined this will be the most stacked Elite 8 in the tournament's history!
