Adam Rose challenged AWE Cruiserweight Champion Chasyn Rance to a Rosebud Match after defeating him last month via count out. A Rosebud match is similar to a Lumberjack match but everyone was in Rose's favor. Rose attempted to cut weight for the match but did not qualify to fight for the the title.
The official of the match and Chasyn Rance were unaware Rose did not make weight. At 4:15, you can see the referee tell the ring announcer:
After the match, the referee was reprimanded in the back and the title was returned.
Also on the card, Raven made an appearance in the main event attacking JD Amazing with a kendo stick. JD Amazing was scheduled to face AWE Heavyweight Champion Shannon Moore. That match is scheduled to take place at the next event on September 15 at the Cocoa Expo.
Plus, Jesse Neal retained the AWE Hardcore Championship and will be defending the title in a 3-way next event against Vertigo Rivera and James Mitchell announced his other opponent being the Monster Abyss.
