3/3 RINGSIDE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING IN RICHLAND, MO REPORT

By Mike Johnson on 3/5/2018 3:37 PM

Ringside Championship Wrestling (RCW) held a live event entitled "Richland Rumble" this past Saturday, March 3 at the Richland City Gym in Richland, MO. The event was a fundraiser for the Richland Friends of the Pool to help generate funds for quality of life projects in the community in partnership with the Richland Parks Department and Richland Area Chamber of Commerce.

The show was a TV Taping for the RCW Ringside Edition TV series that airs weekly on Sundays at 10 a.m. on Fidelity Local 6, a cable access station that covers portions of Missouri, Arkansas and Texas for Fidelity Communications subscribers. The show is also available on the HighSpots Wrestling Network and YouTube.

RCW Owner and Announcer Brian Thompson opened the show by introducing former 3-time WWE World Tag Team Champion Trevor Murdoch, who came out with the vacant RCW Heavyweight Championship. Murdoch explained that the RCW Board of Directors had given him the authority to announce that the evening's scheduled RCW Richland Rumble Invitational Tournament will now also be held to fill the vacancy of the RCW Title. The tournament will see three first round matches with winners advancing to a triple threat final.

Here are results from the event:

RCW Richland Rumble/RCW Title Tournament Round One Match: "Superstar" Steve Fender defeated Air Raid

RCW Richland Rumble/RCW Title Tournament Round One Match: Kyle Roberts defeated Orion Creed

RCW Richland Rumble/RCW Title Tournament Round One Match: "The Rock & Roll Millennial" Danny Adams and "KB Violence" Karim Brigante battled to a double count out.

Ladies Feature Attraction: Savanna Stone defeated Miss Monica Passeri

Main Event - Finals of the RCW Richland Rumble/RCW Title Tournament: "Superstar" Steve Fender defeated Kyle Roberts to win the tournament and the RCW Heavyweight Championship

At the conclusion, Murdoch presented the RCW Title to Fender and an argument ensued between the two former rivals.
