NEW GENERATION WRESTLING CELEBRATES 10TH ANNIVERSARY
?New Generation Wrestling will mark its 10th birthday with a TV taping at Hull City Hall on Sunday, May 6.
An eight-man gauntlet match has been announced for the show and also appearing will be NGW Undisputed Champion Nathan Cruz, ‘The Amazing’ Matt Myers, El Ligero, Screwface, NGW GenX Champion Robbie X, Rampage Brown, Amir Jordan and Justin ‘The Hammer’ Sysum.
Joe Hendry, fresh from competing for Scotland in freestyle wrestling at the Commonwealth Games in Australia, will also be part of the event, as will top US wrestling personality So Cal Val.
NGW, based in Hull, East Yorkshire, has grown from humble beginnings to become one of Europe’s top wrestling promotions.
The company produces a regular episodic YouTube wrestling show called ‘British Wrestling Weekly’ starring some of the UK’s biggest names including Cruz, Ligero, Brown and Zack Gibson.
NGW also has the contract for wrestling at Butlin’s holiday camps in the UK, meaning that last year the product was seen live by 300,000 people.
UK celebrity Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett, star of hit TV quiz show The Chase, is the company’s executive producer.
