[LONDON 30.05.18] The FIFA World Cup is finally here, and to celebrate BAMMA and ITV are teaming up to bring fans one of the biggest nights of sporting action in recent memory!

It all kicks off on ITV on 28th June at 7pm with England v Belgium in the crucial third and final group game, and then it’s on to the legendary York Hall in London as BAMMA hosts an exclusive World Cup Fight Night. Featuring some of the biggest names in European MMA, BAMMA Fight Night London is set to be the perfect companion to a night of high octane World Cup drama.

BAMMA MD Ashley Bothwell “It doesn’t get any bigger than a World Cup final group game, and we are delighted to be partners with ITV in such a high profile sporting event as England v Belgium. To be airing in such a fantastic slot is testament to the performance of BAMMA and the commitment of ITV to the sport of MMA. We couldn’t be more excited to deliver sports fans across the country such an epic night of
action on June 28th”

BAMMA Fight Night London will feature a huge Champion Vs. Champion BAMMA Lightweight World title fight, as Rhys 'Skeletor' McKee puts his belt on the line against BAMMA World Welterweight Champion Terry 'The Dominator' Brazier.

Lightweight Champion Rhys McKee is a man riding high on confidence. After putting in a flawless performance to claim the Lightweight Title in March, many believe that McKee is destined to keep hold of the Lightweight belt for a long time to come. However, there can also be no argument that McKee’s very first title defence pits him against a formidable opponent and his toughest challenge to date.

The "Era Of Domination" began at BAMMA 34, as Terry Brazier executed a perfect game plan and vanquished a long time rival in the shape of Alex Lohore to gain the World Welterweight Title. Now Brazier has set his sights on becoming a two weight division Champion by taking McKee's title, and in doing so potentially become only the second fighter in BAMMA history to reign supreme over two divisions.

With BAMMA Fight Night London already set to be an epic event, this main event just made it unmissable.
