The commentary team for this event will consist of Matt Striker, a near-fifteen year broadcast veteran best known for his time in WWE and Lucha Underground, and Joe Dombrowski, a seventeen-year broadcast veteran best known for his time in Ring of Honor, and also the voice of the inaugural SuperSlam in 2017! Together, Matt & Joe have already called many historic international events in recent times, including AAA's biggest event of the year, TripleMania XXVII, in Mexico this past summer, and Border City Wrestling's "East Meets West" in 2014, which saw the very first appearance of many New Japan Pro Wrestling stars on North American soil. The duo will bring a level of professionalism, experience, and credibility that will solidify QPW SuperSlam 2 as a can't-miss broadcast experience!
As if that excitement isn't enough, it wouldn't be a QPW SuperSlam 2 release unless we profiled some of the major stars slated to appear as well, as the following stars will see action as part of this monumental broadcast -
Carlito - A second generation star, Carlito comes from the legendary Colon family. His father, Carlos, is in the eyes of most, the biggest star in the history of Puerto Rican wrestling, and it's clear Carltio inherited many of his father's talents. Touted as a can't miss prospect from day-one, Carlito defeated John Cena for the WWE United States Championship during his very first WWE televised match, then captured the Intercontinental Championship several months later on the first day he moved from the "Smackdown" to "Raw" brand. Carlito and brother Primo were also the first to hold the modern era version of the Unified World Tag Team Championships when they combined the Raw & Smackdown titles at WrestleMania XXV. Through it all, Carltio has kept his demeanor as the coolest guy in the room and, with his trademark apple, has let it be known how little he thinks of people who "don't want to be cool". Carltio found himself across the ring from the legendary Rey Mysterio at the inaugural SuperSlam, what awaits Carlito at SuperSlam 2?
Chris Masters - Once known as "The Masterpiece", Masters is well known for feats of strength and a body that looks to be chiseled from granite. Chris quickly became a force to be reckoned with thanks to his unbreakable finishing hold - his version of the full nelson dubbed "The Masterlock". Debuting on WWE TV at the young age of 22, Chris was bred for success at a young age, much like Carlito. In fact, the duo enjoyed a successful run as a tag team as well! Masters has appeared in QPW many times in the past, battling the likes of his friend Carlito and Bobby Lashley, and will no doubt be ready for anything come SuperSlam 2!
