The UFC roster has been trimmed as MMA Junkie reports the promotion has cut eight fighters, with those getting the pink slip being Aleksandra Albu, Ali Alqaisi, Cyril Asker, Alex Chambers, Chris De La Rocha, Syuri Kondo, Bojan Mihajlovic and Suman Mokhtarian.
Albu (3-2-0, 2-2-0 UFC) earned two victories in the UFC, with those wins coming over Izabela Badurek and Kailin Curran.
Alqaisi (8-5-0, 0-2-0 UFC) went winless during his UFC tenure, dropping bouts to Irwin Rivera and Tony Kelley.
Asker (9-4-0, 2-3-0 UFC) picked up a pair of wins during his UFC run, with those coming over Dmitry Smoliakov and Yaozong Hu.
Chambers (5-5-0, 1-4-0 UFC) hasn’t competed in over two years, with her last bout being a loss to Livinha Souza at UFC Fight Night 137 in September of 2018.
De La Rocha (5-3-0, 1-3-0 UFC) earned just a single win in the UFC and that came over Rashad Coulter at UFC 225.
Kondo (6-3-0, 1-3-0 UFC) has suffered all three of her professional MMA defeats while competing in the UFC.
Mihajlovic (10-6-0, 0-3-0 UFC) hasn’t competed in over three years and all three of his UFC losses came by KO/TKO.
Mokhtarian (8-2-0, 0-2-0 UFC) dropped a pair of bouts in the UFC to the duo of Sodiq Yusuff and Seung Woo Choi.
