A women’s strawweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night 186, which was announced during the UFC Fight Night 185 broadcast, as #12 Angela Hill faces Ashley Yoder.
Hill (12-9-0) enters the contest riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Claudia Gadelha and Michelle Waterson. Hill hasn’t picked up a win in almost a year, with that last victory coming over Loma Lookboonmee at UFC Fight Night 168. Hill has competed 21 times as a professional MMA fighter and 14 of them went the distance.
Yoder (8-6-0) has won three of her last five in the UFC, with those wins coming over Amanda Bobby Brundage, Syuri Kondo and Miranda Granger. Yoder has seen her last eight fights go the distance and it has been over six years since the fighter got a finish. Yoder competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Kate Jackson.
