REPORT: FELICIA SPENCER VS. DANYELLE WOLF ADDED TO MAY 22 UFC CARD

A women’s featherweight division attraction has been added to the May 22 UFC card according to Cole Shelton of BJPenn.com as Felicia Spencer faces Danyelle Wolf. 

Spencer (8-2-0) is competing for the first time since losing to UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 250. Spencer is competing for the first time in nearly a year, as UFC 250 happened in June of 2020. Spencer has competed 10 times as a pro MMA fighter and four of those encounters went the distance.

Wolf (1-0-0) made her pro MMA debut at Dana White’s Contender Series Season 4, Episode 7, defeating Taneisha Tenant by unanimous decision. Wolf has massive amateur boxing experience, as she is a three time US National Boxing Champion, Wolf tried qualifying for the 2021 Summer Olympics in boxing, but was eliminated during the trials.

UFC Fight Night is set for Saturday, May 22 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
