A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night 187 according to Sherdog as JJ Aldrich faces Cortney Casey.
Aldrich (8-4-0) has won just one of her last three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Lauren Mueller at UFC Fight Night 161. Aldrich hasn’t competed in over a year, with her last bout happening at UFC 246 in January of 2020. Aldrich has earned eight wins as a pro MMA fighter and six of them came by way of decision.
Casey (9-8-0) has won two of her last six on the UFC, with those wins coming over Angela Hill and Mara Romero Borella. Casey has a 5-7-0 record in the UFC and she hasn’t picked up a victory in almost one year. Casey has suffered eight losses as a pro MMA fighter, but she has yet to be beaten by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night 187 takes place on Saturday, March 13 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
