KEVIN CROOM: “HOW CAN I BANG A HOOKER HERE BUT I CAN'T SMOKE WEED AND FISTFIGHT?”

By David Tees on 2/26/2021 4:42 PM

Kevin Croom returns to action tomorrow night at UFC Fight Night 186, facing Alex Caceres in a featherweight division affair.

The UFC star’s win over Roosevelt Roberts from September of 2020 was overturned to a no contest by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) after Croom failed a drug test for marijuana.

Croom was angered by what went down and he took out those frustrations on the athletic commission.

“I took it on 36 hours’ notice,” he said during the UFC Fight Night 186 virtual media day (via Bloody Elbow). “I came here and I was like, ‘Hey guys, I’ve been smoking.’ UFC’s like, ‘Cool, man. No problem.’ F—ng Nevada. How can I bang a hooker here but I can’t smoke weed and fistfight? What the f—k? This is garbage, people. And they’re not gonna change it because this is how they’re getting paid. So, bullshit.”

UFC Fight Night 186 takes place on Saturday, February 27 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Ciryl Gane headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
