A bantamweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 258 according to MMA DNA as Patrick Mix faces James Gallagher.
Mix (13-1-0) is looking to rebound from his first MMA defeat, which came against Juan Archuleta at Bellator 246. Mix spent the majority of his career in King Of The Cage, where he went nine for nine before heading to Bellator MMA. Mix has picked up 13 wins as a pro MMA fighter and nine of them came by way of submission.
Gallagher (11-1-0) enters the contest riding a four fight winning streak, which includes a victory over UFC veteran Roman Salazar. Gallagher has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Ricky Bandejas at Bellator 204. Gallagher has competed 12 times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance.
Bellator 258 takes place on Friday, May 7 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Showtime.
