A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC 262 according to the Los Angeles Times as #6 Jack Hermansson faces #12 Edmen Shahbazyan.

Hermansson (21-6-0) has won just one of his last three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Kelvin Gastelum at UFC Fight Night 172. Hermansson is undefeated when competing at UFC pay-per-view events, picking up a victory at UFC 224. Hermansson has earned 11 of 21 pro MMA wins by KO/TKO, with another six coming by way of submission.

Shahbazyan (11-1-0) is looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came against Derek Brunson at UFC Fight Night 173. Shahbazyan hasn’t earned a victory in over a year, with his last win coming at UFC 244 in November of 2019. Shahbazyan has competed 12 times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.

UFC 262 takes place on Saturday, May 15 from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas with Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
