The IMMAF's nation vs nation, elite amateur MMA tournament plays out across 2 MMA rings over 5 days to an estimated daily runtime of 6 hrs, and is set to feature 228 athletes from 13 nations. Heavy-hitting teams include Bahrain, Russia and Kazakhstan and which hold the top 3 spots in the Senior World Amateur MMA Rankings and sit among the top 4 in the Junior Rankings.
Rising Stars and athletes to watch, as identified by IMMAF, are Michele Montague (NZ), Ramazan Gitinov and Sabrina da Sousa (Bahrain), Magdalena Czaban (Poland), Jenni Kivioja (Finland), Bagdat Zhubanysh and Ayan Tursyn (Kazakhstan), and newly moving into the seniors, Omar Aliev (Russia).
