Bare Knuckles Boxing to air on beIN SPORTS

The world-class sports network announces it will air Bare Knuckles Boxing on beIN SPORTS CONNECT and on free streaming and over-the-air channel, beIN SPORTS XTRA

beIN SPORTS announced it will air Bare Knuckles Boxing in the U.S. and Canada. BKB will air every Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. EST / 5:00 p.m. PST on beIN SPORTS XTRA, the network’s free streaming and over-the-air channel. Coverage will begin with a special live airing of BKB22 on beIN SPORTS CONNECT on Saturday, September 11 at 1:00 p.m. EST / 10:00 a.m. PST.

Founded by Joe Brown and Jim Freeman, Bare Knuckles Boxing was created to provide a professional platform for bare-knuckles boxing. The rules were developed identical to those of gloved boxing with an official referee and weigh-ins, judges, on-site medical team, and fighters matched according to weight and ability. With Brown and Freeman’s ambition the sport has gained traction and grown over the years, beginning with events held at small venues such as the Coventry Sports Connection and Coventry Sky Dome to Liverpool’s Echo Arena, to now calling London’s O2 Arena the official home of BKB.

Bare Knuckles Boxing features athletes, including experienced ex-gloved boxers, in peak condition fighting for world titles in the ring. BKB22 will feature the main event, a rematch between BKB World Champion Ricardo “Bonbon” Franco and three-time weight BKB World Champion Jimmy “The Celtic Warrior” Sweeney, as well as the undercard featuring bouts between Morgan vs Hick, Tracey vs Godfrey, Decastro vs Hilz, Nelder vs Goodwin, Barbaru vs Lyall, Bindon vs Pernica, Curragh vs Trezise, Murray vs Levitchi, Lafferty vs Lawson, and more. British former professional boxers Robin Reid and Glen McCrory will provide commentary along with Canadian MMA commentator and analyst Robin Black. Fans can also catch a two-part encore presentation of BKB22 on Wednesday, September 15 and September 22 at 8:00 p.m. EST/ 5:00 p.m. PST on beIN SPORTS XTRA.
