North Carolina’s AML Wrestling celebrates their seventh anniversary this Sunday afternoon at East Davidson High School in Thomasville, NC with a 10-man, 2-ring “Acts of War Games” match plus special guests J.J. Dillon, Paul Ellering and Matt Hardy.
The cage match pits local legend “Mr. Number One” George South, AML Wrestling Champion Caprice Coleman, AML Prestige Champion The Infinite Man (TIM), ECW original CW Anderson and long-time Mid-Atlantic veteran Preston Quinn against the team of Colby Corino, former Impact star Andrew Everett, former WWE developmental talent Brad Attitude and the AML Wrestling World Tag-Team Champions, Zane & Dave Dawson. South’s team will have legendary manager of the Four Horsemen J.J. Dillon in their corner, while the Dawson-led team will have legendary manager of the Road Warriors Paul Ellering at their side. Both Dillon and Ellering were on opposing sides of the very first War Games match on July 4, 1987.

Matt Hardy returns to action in his home state to face AML Wrestling mainstay Arik Royal. Hardy headlined the first AML Wrestling event in January 2015 and has been a two-time WrestleCade Champion, the huge 3-day wrestling convention the group puts on every November. Royal is also the current champion of the Georgia-based ACTION Wrestling promotion.
MLW’s Calvin Tankman makes his AML Wrestling debut going against Ohio Valley Wrestling’s Gustavo. Future Stars of AML Wrestling Champion Zuka King faces popular cult favorite White Mike. JB Cole and JR Miller, who were both featured on AEW Dark during the company’s recent Carolina tapings, face the debuting team of Exotic Youth. The massive Cyrus the Destroyer, who toured Japan in 2020 with the WRESTLE-1 organization, faces former AML Prestige Champion Axton Ray.
Doors open at 2:30 pm for meet and greet opportunities with Hardy, Dillon and Ellering and the card kicks off at 4 pm this Sunday afternoon at East Davidson High School, located at 1408 Lake Road Thomasville, NC 27360.
