A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 289 according to MMA Fighting as Miranda Maverick faces Jasmine Jasudavicius.
Maverick (11-4-0) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Sabina Mazo and Shanna Young. Maverick hasn’t been defeated in over a year, with her last loss coming to Erin Blanchfield at UFC 269 in December of 2021. Maverick has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of those came by way of decision.
Jasudavicius (8-2-0) has won two of three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Kay Hansen and Gabriella Fernandes. Jasudavicius has seen her last six fights go the distance and it has been over two years since the fighter got a finish. Jasudavicius has earned eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of those have come by way of decision.
